💾 Backup & Restore

Owner only. Backup downloads all records (sales, daily, mpesa, shifts, shoes…). Restore loads a backup file onto this phone.

🤖 Shop Assistant

For owner and sales staff: prices, stock, offers, sales, debtors. Staff see selling prices & own sales (not profit/cost). Answers use only data in this app.

🔑 Registration Codes

Generate a 4-character code for a new sales person. Code works once only.

🔓 Reset staff PIN

Generate a one-time reset code. Staff enter it on login screen to set a new PIN.

Activate/Deactivate needs confirmation — blocks all entries on their phone (Contact your Owner). Use Manage devices to pause/unpause online data sync per phone.

Owner and sales phones must use the same app URL and the same Supabase anon key for data to appear on both sides.

Setup steps

1. Create a free project at supabase.com
2. Open SQL Editor → run the file supabase-schema.sql (included in the app folder)
3. Settings → API → copy only the anon public key (long text starting with eyJ)
4. Paste the key above → Save key & Sync users
5. On every phone: paste the same anon key → Save
6. Check Supabase Table Editor → app_users has rows after owner saves

🧰 Data recovery

Offline mode: Save always works without internet. Data is stored on the phone and uploads to Supabase automatically when you are online (and Cloud anon key is set).

If M-Pesa / Daily / Shift vanished after an update but shoes remain, shoes were in the cloud and the others may still only be on one phone.
